Let's Rock the Moor

This is the 4th year for this fantastic open air rock concert and there is even more to offer for all the family this year, including an indoor cinema - suitable for all weather eventualities! The event begins at midday and it's a real 80's rewind with Billy Ocean headlining and ably suported by Heaven 17, Go West, China Crisis and Bony M. The Link Foundation Maidenhead Relay Marathon: Kidwells Park, Maidenhead

What a fantastic day in Kidwells Park!

This year we are combining the Maidenhead carnival and annual Relay Marathon with the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, so it should again be a fantastic family event.

Even though the 2011 event was held in pouring rain, it did not dampen the runners spirit and, with over 400 runners particuipating in the relay marathon, the Link Foundation was able raise over £9,000 to help local disadvantaged children and their families.

A very big thank you from the Link Foundation to Purple Patch, the race organisers, Steph James, Maidenhead's town centre manager and all the volunteers who help the Link Foundation relay marathon run as smoothly as possible.

As with previous years, we will be holding a children's race, which will be run before the main marathon so all proud parents can see their children take part.

To everyone who entered the relay marathon in 201 and raised money for us - Thank you. Over the last 4 relay marathon events we have raised £50,000 which has enabled us to help 100's of children with basic essentials that we all take for granted.

The Link Foundation Ball: Crown Plaza Hotel, Marlow

This is the fourth Link Foundation fundraising ball and once again it will be a fantastic black tie, society party, which will feature delicious food and wine with entertainment by a premier band.
Ladies, get out your slinky frocks and gentleman, brush off your dinner jackets as this party will be as glamorous as it gets!! Some amazing auction prizes have already been donated, so we can guarantee you the opportunity to grab some unusual and special lots.
Tickets are priced at £70, which includes a glass of champagne on arrival and wine with your meal. Tables can seat up to 12, so this would be a great chance for you to get your friends together for a fabulous night out as well as supporting disadvantaged children.

Fireworks and Fun

Pyrotechnics will illuminate the night sky at Maidenhead United’s football ground on Saturday 3rd November.

1,700 people turned up to witness the firework frenzy last year, with a fiesta of bangs and colours above the stadium, and we look forward to welcoming more this year!

Fair attractions are also on offer with an inflatable slide, coconut shy and galleon ride proving popular amongst the wealth of children at the event.
The event is held to raise funds for the Link Foundation, a Maidenhead-based charity that looks to provide respite for local children facing hardship, as well as those further afield.

The Link Foundation (TLF), provides grants to disadvantaged children for everything from toys to basic essentials like food and clothing. All proceeds from the night go directly to the children's charity.
