We would like to extend a very sincere thank you to Helen Hanby from Biogen Idec for the donation of Christmas presents in 2010 and 2011. We were able to take bags and bags of presents to all of the refuges as well as to the Family Nurse Partnership and the health visitors working with very disadvantaged families in the community and the difference it made to the children's Christmas was unimaginable!
During these difficult economic times, many families struggeld to give their children any presents at Christmas time but Biogen Idec help hundreds of these families have a happy and normal Christmas as they provided brand new toys for both girls and boys of all age groups. This really is a fantatsic initiative and we are all grateful for their support.
Janine Lynch of Biogen has also helped us out immensely by putting together boxes of goodies for children in desperate need. Thank you Janine, and thank you Biogen Idec!

HOW DO WE RAISE FUNDS?
Over 50% of the Link Foundation's annual budget is donated by Pharmalink Consulting however the charity raises additional funds through a combination of other corporate and private donations as well as fundraising events.
We would very much like to thank all of our corporate sponsors and private donors for all your contributions. Your support has meant that, just since 2007, we have managed to put ourselves in the category of medium sized charities in the UK and have helped a significant number of children this year.
Our aim is to make the Link Foundation a household name in the community and attract as much corporate sponsorship as possible in order to raise significantly more income to help the following projects:

The Cot and Bed Project
In 2010 and 2011, the Shanly Group, donated £5,000 to support the Link Foundation Cot and Bed project. This is a fantastic initiative helping to make sure all the children in our community have a bed or cot to sleep in and the trustees of the Link Foundation are very grateful to everyone in the Shanly Group who have made this project possible.
